The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle, integrating new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously refresh the brake pad surface during braking. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft-quality billet, features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers. It weighs just over 7 lbs each and includes built-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are ideal for vehicles used more frequently for track driving.
