Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors

It builds upon the Procomp kit's benefits by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons. The calipers are forged from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, while aluminum pistons enhance heat dissipation. Caliper brackets are CNC machined from carbon steel to facilitate a direct bolt-on installation to OEM locations. This kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, allowing the outer section to shift slightly for better self-centering within the caliper. This results in reduced brake drag and improved performance through more even brake application. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, which are formulated for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering a 50% reduction in brake dust compared to race pads, along with reduced noise and rotor wear. The operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F and 1022°F. Additionally, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel.
