The Verus Engineering Brake Master Cylinder Brace is designed to address brake master cylinder flex in Scion FRS, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota GT86/GR86 models. This flexing, caused by the thin firewall sheet metal, can lead to a vague brake pedal feel, especially during track use. The brace dramatically reduces this movement, resulting in an improved brake pedal feel and stability.

Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum with a 303 stainless steel adjuster, the brace features a bright black anodized finish and stainless steel hardware. It offers a simple, non-invasive installation and is made in the U.S.A. The kit includes a strut mount, adjuster, foot, and all necessary hardware.

This flex originates from the thin sheet metal in the firewall, which can distort under braking pressure, leading to a less precise and vague brake pedal sensation, particularly noticeable during demanding track conditions. This kit offers a significant improvement by dramatically reducing master cylinder deflection, with reported reductions of approximately 65% compared to the OEM setup.
