Brake Pad Cooling Kit

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle, integrating new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure consistent performance. This system continually cools and refreshes the brake pad surface during braking, while the opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM setups. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is machined from aircraft-quality billet, features differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers, and includes protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. Stainless steel brake lines are utilized to prevent expansion under pressure. This kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight for improved handling and acceleration. The floating disc design also prevents thermal stresses from extreme heat from warping the disc or the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotors effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris faster than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, these slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving. The specific application for this kit is the 1997-2001 Honda Prelude.
