This kit utilizes advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure continuous cooling and refreshing of the brake pad surface during aggressive braking. At the core of this kit is an extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper, CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet. Weighing just over 5 lbs each, it features differential bore configuration and includes machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The kit incorporates a two-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stress and prevent warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. Ksport's unique rotor slot design is optimized to reduce braking noise and efficiently expel gas and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. Cross-drilled rotors offer superior cooling and are recommended for daily drivers, while slotted rotors are ideal for track-focused use.
