The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle, featuring advanced brake technology to minimize brake fade and maintain optimal pad performance. At the core of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, crafted from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It boasts a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than their ProComp calipers, weighing just over 7lbs each. The caliper features built-in protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel. The SuperComp systems include a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The unique rotor slot design reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For vehicles used more for track driving, slotted rotors are recommended; for daily drivers, cross-drilled rotors are suggested for cooler operation. Included are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, providing optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track days. These pads significantly reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear. The optimal operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F and 1022°F. This kit is specifically designed to fit the Toyota Supra 1993-1998 models and is confirmed to fit 2WD vehicles only.
