This proactive notification helps prevent potential damage to brake rotors and ensures optimal braking performance. The specifications note that this sensor is for use with vehicles *without* ceramic brakes. Specific fitment details indicate that while this sensor is compatible with a wide range of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, there are certain exclusions. For example, it is not for cars with Red Painted Calipers (Code U70) on select GLE models (2020-21 and 2024-25), and not for cars with Sport Brake System (Code U29) or Red Painted Calipers (Code U70) on the 2024-25 GLE580 4Matic Sport Utility. It is also noted that electrical items are generally non-returnable unless part of an approved warranty replacement.
