Each Motorcraft brake pad undergoes extensive lab and real-world testing, including load tests up to maximum GVW, extreme brake temperature tests, and partial system failure tests. The pads are constructed with slots, chamfers, and insulators to help dissipate heat, reduce fade, eliminate vibration for smooth stops, and dampen noise. This part is compatible with select 2004-2009 Ford F-150 models and the 2004 Ford F-150 Heritage. It also fits select 2006-2007 Lincoln Mark LT models with the 5.4L V8 engine. The pads are made with ceramic friction material and include pad shims. Mounting hardware is not included, and pad wear sensors are not included.
