The Ksport ProComp 6-Piston Front Big Brake System is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your vehicle. This kit integrates advanced brake technology that significantly reduces brake fade and continuously cools and refreshes the brake pad surface during braking. It weighs just over 5 lbs. and includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while the DOT compliant stainless steel braided brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, improving pedal feel and response. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, and to mitigate thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are ceramic and designed for optimal performance on the street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise. Optional RC1 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic, are available for extreme track conditions. This specific kit (BKSB150-611SO) is designed for the 2008-2014 Subaru Impreza WRX and is compatible with 2WD vehicles. All Ksport big brake kits come with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
