Ksport big brake kits provide the ultimate in stopping power. Integrating new brake technology into the design reduces brake fade and continually cools and refreshes the brake pad surface under braking. Featuring an extreme lightweight one-piece caliper that weighs just over 5lbs, it comes in a differential bore configuration and is CNC machined from aircraft quality billet. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to prevent thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris faster than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles, while slotted rotors are recommended for track use.
