Brake Technology Kit

This sophisticated bolt-on brake upgrade integrates new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually cool the brake pad surface under demanding braking conditions. The extreme lightweight one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, featuring a differential bore configuration and weighing just over 5 lbs each. It includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, with many applications offering a floating disc option to prevent warping from thermal stresses. The unique slot design on the rotor reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to cooler operation, and slotted rotors, which are recommended for vehicles seeing more track use than daily driving.
