The Roadmaster BrakeMaster braking system connects directly to the motorhome’s air or hydraulic braking system. Brake line pressure in the motorhome controls the brakes in the towed vehicle, providing proportional and synchronized braking. It connects and disconnects in under a minute without tools. Weighing 3.75 lbs and measuring 17 inches in length, it's easily storable. This pneumatic system works with virtually any motorhome and any towed vehicle with power brakes. The 9060 model includes the BrakeAway emergency braking system and an air compressor. A proportioning valve measures RV hydraulic brake pressure and meters proportionate air pressure to the supplemental brakes. It meets U.S. and Canadian braking requirements and works with vehicles with 'active' (or 'continuous power assist') brakes when used with a Brake Pressure Reducer.
