Description

The Tekonsha 50-85-313 is a breakaway system designed to safely bring a trailer to a stop by activating its electric brakes if it becomes disconnected while being towed. It features a push-to-test button with LEDs to indicate battery charge status and an integrated multi-stage charger with automatic float mode to prevent overcharging.

This system is suitable for 1, 2, or 3 axle trailers equipped with electric brakes. It includes a battery box, a 5 Amp/hr battery, and a breakaway switch with 7.5" lead wires. The unit is housed in a weather/corrosion-resistant, heavy-duty polymer case and offers quick and easy installation with flat surface mounting. A 1-year limited warranty is included.
