The Brembo Gran Turismo High Performance Braking System offers significant advantages over the OEM manufacturer's system, going far beyond "big brakes." The system uses larger, more sophisticated, directionally vented, drilled or slotted discs to increase fade resistance and enhance cooling, while continuously refreshing the pad surface. Most applications feature a two-piece "floating" disc assembly, with a cast-iron disc mounted to a billet aluminum hat, saving significant unsprung and rotating weight. The floating system also prevents thermal stresses that lead to disc warping. Each Gran Turismo system includes high-performance brake pads, aircraft-quality hardware, DOT and TUV-approved Goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines, an instruction manual, and die-cut stickers. This braking system is developed specifically for each vehicle application by Brembo's technical resources, ensuring high quality and performance.
