Description

The Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) LS7 Stage 4 V2 Camshaft is engineered for maximum effort naturally aspirated applications, built with BTR-designed lobes that have undergone extensive Spintron testing and Superflow Engine Dynamometer validation. This camshaft is not for the faint of heart, offering significant top-end power gains at the expense of some low-end torque, and is characterized by a very aggressive idle. This hydraulic roller camshaft features a 246/26X duration, .662"/.662" lift, and a 111 LSA. For optimal performance and valvetrain stability, it is recommended for use with ported cylinder heads and aftermarket intake manifolds, such as BTR's Trinity series. BTR's .660" Lift Platinum spring kit with titanium retainers is a suitable pairing. Due to the LS7 rocker arm's longer pivot length and scroll, lifts up to .660" can be accommodated without valve tip damage, with a recommended maximum open spring pressure of 430 lbs. For maximum performance and reliability, the use of titanium intake valves is also advised.
