Brian Tooley Racing Stage 3 V2 Camshaft

The Brian Tooley Racing BTR-LS7STAGE3 is a Stage 3 V2 camshaft engineered for naturally aspirated LS7 engines. Developed in-house by BTR, this camshaft utilizes specifically designed lobes that have undergone Spintron and Engine Dyno testing to maximize the overall power curve while maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards. This V2 iteration is designed to produce more power and torque across the RPM range compared to previous Stage 3 LS7 camshafts. With specifications of 237/25X duration and .662"/.662" lift on a 114 LSA, this camshaft is intended to deliver strong top-end power. However, users should anticipate a rougher idle and a potential sacrifice in low-end torque. The intake lobe lift at Top Dead Center (TDC) is 0.06795. Installation of this camshaft requires specific supporting components for optimal performance and reliability. BTR strongly recommends the use of their .660" Lift Platinum spring kit with titanium retainers and hardened pushrods. Due to the unique geometry of LS7 rocker arms, up to .660" lift can be accommodated without valve tip damage, with a recommended maximum open spring pressure of 430 lbs. For maximum performance and longevity, BTR also suggests utilizing titanium intake valves with this camshaft.
