Constructed with an epoxy powder coating for enhanced corrosion protection, this starter also has induction case-hardened motor shafts at the bearing surfaces for improved wear resistance. All armatures are tested to withstand 50 times operating voltage (12V), and each motor is performance tested at five different load levels to meet or exceed OEM performance standards.
