The Hifonics BG-2500.1D BRUTUS GAMMA mono subwoofer amplifier is engineered to deliver robust 2500-watt performance for your car audio system. Utilizing Super D Class™ technology, it incorporates Ultra-Fi™ MOSFET outputs, meticulously selected for optimal balance and power output. This design ensures high efficiency and lower distortion, even at high listening levels, compared to conventional D-Class amplifiers. This mono amplifier provides comprehensive control over your sound. It features variable electronic crossovers with a 12dB per octave slope, allowing precise frequency management from 30Hz to 250Hz for the low-pass filter. Additionally, a subsonic filter operates between 15Hz and 35Hz, and a built-in bass control with a 0-10dB bass boost lets you fine-tune your low-end. The phase adjustment can be set between 0 and 180 degrees to optimize integration with other speakers. Constructed with a classic aluminum heat sink to manage thermal buildup, the BG-2500.1D boasts a low noise preamplifier circuit to maintain signal integrity. It features nickel-plated RCA inputs for efficient, corrosion-resistant audio connections and secure, high-temperature impact-resistant output connectors. System protection is monitored via LED indicators for overload and speaker short circuits. A wired bass remote is included for convenient adjustment of bass frequencies from anywhere in the vehicle.
