The Baileigh Industrial BS-712MS is a versatile horizontal and vertical metal-cutting band saw. It features a heavy-duty, cast iron, swivel head for mitering, allowing for faster production times and less waste. This dual functionality is ideal for shops with limited space, effectively providing two saws in one. It is powered by 120-volt single-phase power, suitable for various environments. It boasts a capacity of 7 inches OD round and 7 inches x 10-1/4 inches rectangle in the horizontal position at 90°. It uses standard 0.75-inch wide blades and offers three cutting speeds: 125, 215, and 270 fpm. The machine's cast iron head and bow are machined to exacting tolerances for proper alignment and extended durability. It includes adjustable blade guides with eight sealed ball bearings to maintain alignment and prolong blade life. The fully-welded steel plate framework ensures stability and structural strength.
