The Brian Tooley Racing Platinum LS Dual Spring Kit (SK001) is a high-performance valve spring solution for Gen III and Gen IV LS engines, supporting up to .660" of valve lift. This kit is designed to ensure your valves remain precisely positioned, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from daily drivers with mild cams to 600 hp naturally aspirated strokers and even 1000 hp turbocharged builds. The kit includes SP001-1 dual polished springs, VL7°8MM-1 locks, your choice of Titanium or Chromoly Steel retainers, locators for stock or bronze guides, and VS LS valve seals. Spring specifications include 155 lbs at 1.780", 380 lbs at 1.180", 400 lbs at 1.130", with coil bind occurring at 1.070". This kit is designed for use with stock rocker arms and is a direct fit for 15° LS heads. It is also compatible with LS7 heads, provided a .030” shim (Part # SS030) is used. However, this kit will not fit LS9 engines; for those applications, part # SK006 is recommended. If roller rockers are intended, part # SK002 should be used instead.
