BTR Connecting Rod and Component Kit

The Brian Tooley Racing BTR GEN V DOD / AFM Conversion Kit provides a complete solution for removing the troublesome Displacement On Demand (DOD) or Active Fuel Management (AFM) lifter system from your Gen V GM LT engine. This customizable kit allows you to select the exact components you need, whether you're starting from scratch or already possess some parts. Each kit can include essential items such as a valley cover or conversion plugs, head bolts or studs, head gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets, lifters, lifter trays, valve cover gaskets, valley cover gaskets, spark plug wires, a DOD/Start-Stop disabler module, cam retainer plate, cam retainer bolts, intake gaskets, fuel pump gasket, and a balancer bolt. A tuning device, including necessary credits and potentially an unlock cable or ECM ship-in unlock, is also required and often included or available through partners. It is important to note that a non-DOD camshaft is required for this lifter replacement. Additionally, some later platforms may require an additional unlock cable, credits, or an ECM ship-in unlock. The included tuning device, such as the Throttle Republic unit, guides users through the registration and unlocking process, with further instructions provided to ensure proper installation and configuration for your specific platform.
