BTR GEN IV DOD Conversion Camshaft

The Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) GEN IV 07-13 Truck DOD/AFM Conversion Kit provides a comprehensive solution for removing the factory Active Fuel Management (AFM) lifter system from Gen IV GM LS truck engines. The kit is highly customizable, allowing you to select the exact components required for your conversion. Standard inclusions typically feature a valley cover, head bolts or studs, head gaskets, header/exhaust manifold gaskets, lifters, lifter trays, valve cover gaskets, valley cover gaskets, cam retainer plate and bolts, and a balancer bolt. Additionally, the kit can be configured to include the Throttle Republic RTD4 tuning device, which is essential for properly managing the engine after the AFM system is disabled. This tuner can facilitate a stock cam tune with AFM/DOD/MDS removed, simplifying the installation process. Please note that some late-model platforms may require an additional unlock cable, credits, or an ECM ship-in unlock, with detailed instructions provided via a QR code within the box. To ensure a complete and correct installation, BTR offers various related parts that can be integrated into your kit or purchased separately. These include specific valley cover gaskets (note: BTR10141 will not work with the factory DOD/AFM valley cover), cam retainer plates and bolts, engine block to cylinder head dowels, water pumps, cam bolts, and various options for spark plug wires.
