The kit can include essential components such as a valley cover, head bolts or studs, head gaskets, header gaskets, lifters, lifter trays, valve cover gaskets, valley cover gaskets, cam retainer plate, cam retainer bolts, and a balancer bolt. It also has an option to include an RTD4 tuning device.

The Gen BTR GEN IV 07-13 Truck DOD Conversion Kit is engineered to remove the troublesome Active Fuel Management (AFM) or Displacement on Demand (DOD) system from Gen IV GM LS truck engines. This kit allows you to select BTR quality components tailored to your specific requirements, offering a customizable solution for eliminating the AFM lifter setup. This comprehensive conversion kit can include a wide array of necessary parts. Available components include a valley cover, head bolts or studs, head gaskets, header/exhaust manifold gaskets, lifters, lifter trays, valve cover gaskets, valley cover gaskets, a cam retainer plate with bolts, and a balancer bolt. Additionally, the kit offers the option to include an RTD4 tuning device, simplifying the process of completing the conversion, though you will still need to select a camshaft and any appropriate springs, seals, and pushrods if deviating from stock specifications. Note that the BTR10141 valley cover gasket is not compatible with the factory DOD/AFM valley cover. Furthermore, some later platforms may require an additional unlock cable, credits, or an ECM ship-in unlock. The Throttle Republic instructions, accessible via a QR code in the box, will guide you through these steps and any necessary additional purchases for your specific platform.
