BTR L84 DOD/AFM Delete Kit

The Brian Tooley Racing 19+ L84 DOD/AFM Delete Kit with BTR Truck Cam Kit provides a comprehensive solution for enhancing the performance of L84 engines. The kit includes a variety of components necessary for the delete and upgrade process, such as BTR 5.3L MLS head gaskets, BTR lifter trays, Delphi Gen V non-DOD lifters, BTR head bolt sets, a GM crank bolt, BTR exhaust manifold gaskets, GM valley cover and valve cover gaskets, GM crank damper seal, GM water pump gaskets, BTR camshaft retainer plate, BTR Gen V Plus DOD plug set, and ACDelco RTV sealant. For Stages 1-3 and the Truck Norris camshaft options, the kit also includes a choice of BTR Gen V camshaft, a BTR .550" beehive spring set, BTR valve hat seals, a BTR 4° phaser limiter, and a phaser tool. The Stage 4 cam kit comes with a BTR Conical .650" spring & seal set, BTR 11/32 7.850" Chromoly pushrod set, and a phaser tool. Various camshaft options are available, each with specific performance gains: Stage 1 offers up to 34.8 HP and 24.4 ft-lbs increase; Stage 2 and Truck Norris provide up to 44.2 HP and 24.4 ft-lbs increase; Stage 3 yields up to 52.1 HP and 22.5 ft-lbs increase; and Stage 4 delivers up to 67.4 HP and 15.7 ft-lbs increase. The Stage 4 cam requires a 3400+ RPM stall speed torque converter. It is important to note that pushrods are not included in the Stage 1-3 cam kits, and while factory thickness may work, measuring is highly recommended. A Dyno/Street tune is required after installation. This kit WILL NOT work for 14+ 2500HD models with the 6.0 engine; please refer to the 07-13 kits for those vehicles. Due to parts availability, a cam phaser bolt is not included.
