The Brian Tooley Racing BTR LS1 Shaft Rocker Kit is engineered to combat valve train deflection inherent in stock rocker arm mounting within Chevrolet Gen III-IV cylinder heads. This advanced system significantly reduces deflection, leading to improved engine performance and enhanced durability. The kit utilizes technology typically reserved for premium shaft rocker assemblies. The BTR shaft rocker system comprises a billet steel stand featuring four shafts per cylinder head, along with all necessary fasteners and bearings. The shafts themselves are manufactured from genuine 52100 bearing steel. A key design element is the mounting of each rocker pair with five fasteners to the rocker stand, providing superior stability compared to conventional single-bolt setups. Extensive testing confirmed the superiority of steel stands over aluminum for this application.
