Bump steer is defined as the involuntary change in toe/steering angle during suspension travel. This gauge helps optimize suspension behavior and chassis characteristics.

Bump steer refers to the unwanted alteration of a vehicle's toe angle as the suspension compresses or rebounds. This gauge features a multi-drilled PCD plate with an integrated measurement scale, a digital dial indicator capable of measuring in both millimeters and inches, and a precision roller bearing. The roller bearing, in conjunction with a hinged base, accurately follows the suspension's arc of travel to ensure simple and accurate readings. Its height-adjustable frame provides versatility and also acts as a lock when folded for compact, flat-pack transport and storage. Constructed from high-grade mild steel and aluminum with a durable silver-grey powder-coated finish, the B-G Racing Bump Steer Gauge is built for longevity and repeated use in demanding environments. The product specifications include a resolution of 0.01mm (0.0005”), an accuracy of 0.003”, and compatibility with a wide range of PCD bolt patterns, from 4x100mm to 4x130mm and 5x100mm to 5x130mm. An optional black nylon carry bag (BGR310BAG) is available separately to further protect the gauge during storage and transportation. The product comes with a 12-month warranty against faulty manufacture.
