The Damond Motorsports Passenger Side Motor Mount is engineered to significantly improve power delivery and reduce unwanted drivetrain movement for MK3 Focus ST and RS models. It aims to drastically reduce wheel hop and torque-steer, while introducing less Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) compared to other aftermarket options. The construction of the Damond Motorsports PMM includes a precisely oriented bushing carrier made of machined aluminum, available in gold or black anodize. The lower mount base and top piece are crafted from high-strength steel, welded and powder-coated black for durability. It utilizes OTS Energy poly bushings and comes with all necessary high-grade fasteners, lock nuts, and spacers. New for this mount are bushing stiffness options: Street (70a) for minimal NVH, and Race (88a) for maximum performance and least engine movement. The mount is made in the U.S.A. Installation of this mount requires specific tools, including a torque wrench, various socket sizes (18mm, 16mm, 15mm), an E10 inverted Torx socket, and a 6mm Allen key. It is recommended that only an experienced mechanic performs the installation after allowing the vehicle to cool down. The process involves supporting the engine, removing the factory mount, and installing the new Damond Motorsports mount, with specific torque values for the fasteners. A slight break-in period may be required for NVH to settle, and a re-check of all bolts and nuts after 500 miles is advised. Note that there will be added NVH over stock.
