The Buyers Products SaltDogg SHPE2000 is a commercial-grade electric poly hopper spreader designed for bulk salt or a 50/50 sand/salt mix. It features a durable 2.0 cubic yard double-wall poly hopper, resistant to rust and dents. The spreader is powered by a 12V DC electric drive with independent motors: a 1/2 HP gear motor for the 2-1/2 inch stainless steel auger and a 1/4 HP gear motor for the 14-inch poly spinner, which can cast material up to a 30-foot radius. The auger includes an auto-reverse function for jam clearing, and a 200 lb capacity vibrator ensures consistent material flow. An in-cab controller provides control over independent auger and spinner speeds, as well as vibrator control. The SHPE2000 comes with a top screen, tarp, tie-downs, and a remote auger bearing grease kit. Forklift slots are integrated for easy loading. Backed by a 2-year warranty and made in the USA.
