The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC146J-1 is a remanufactured BW146 transfer case, specifically designed for Jeep Grand Cherokees equipped with the 6.1L engine from the 2006 to 2010 model years. This transfer case features a single-speed, AWD configuration and a 26-external spline input with a cup-style front output yoke and a bolt-on rear output yoke. Zumbrota Drivetrain remanufactures these units to strict specifications, ensuring a quality build and reliable performance. The process includes thorough inspection of cases and internal components for wear, followed by a proprietary cleaning method. All bearings, seals, and viscous couplers are replaced, and each unit is spun-tested for shift-ability and noise before shipping in protective totes. Key specifications include an aluminum housing, a fluid capacity of 1.2 quarts requiring MoPar 68001758AB fluid, and a manufacturer code of DHB. It does not include a shift motor.
