BW4405 Remanufactured Electric Shift Transfer Case

The Zumbrota Drivetrain BW4405 transfer case is a remanufactured unit specifically designed for 1996-1998 Ford Explorer models equipped with the BW4405 transfer case. This electric-shift transfer case features torque-on-demand functionality and includes a 6-bolt cup style front output yoke and a circular rear output yoke. It is also equipped with a speedo hole and both front and rear speed sensor holes, ensuring all necessary connections are present for proper operation. Zumbrota Drivetrain rebuilds each unit to exacting standards. The process involves thorough inspection of cases and internal components for wear, including cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. Internal and external parts undergo an exclusive Hydro-blast rinse and blasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning to restore an OEM finish. Every remanufactured transfer case includes a 100% replacement of all bearings, seals, and viscous couplers (when applicable).
