BW4406 Remanufactured Transfer Case

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC4406F-1 is a fully remanufactured BorgWarner BW4406 transfer case, rebuilt to high standards for reliable performance. This unit features a manual shift with Shift-On-The-Fly (SOTF) capability and is equipped with a speedometer sensor. It is specifically designed without the Torque On Demand (TOD) system. During the remanufacturing process, Zumbrota Drivetrain's expert craftsmen meticulously inspect and test all cases and internal components for wear, including cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. The cleaning process involves an exclusive Hydro-blast rinse and blasting procedure, followed by a proprietary deep cleaning. Critical wear components such as all bearings, seals, and viscous couplers are replaced. Each finished unit undergoes thorough spun testing to ensure proper shiftability and quiet operation. The transfer case is shipped in high-density plastic totes to prevent damage during transit. This transfer case is compatible with Ford 1996-1998 F-150 4WD (Manual Shift) and 1996-1997 Ford F-250 4WD models. It comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
