The Zumbrota Drivetrain BW4410 transfer case is a remanufactured unit designed for Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer models from 2002-2005.

This transfer case features a full-time All-Wheel Drive system without a dash switch, a viscous drive, a cup-style front output yoke, and a circular rear output yoke. It does not have a speedometer hole. The unit undergoes quality inspections throughout the remanufacturing process and is cleaned using hydro blasting and rinsing to restore an OEM finish. Seals, bearings, and viscous couplers are 100% replaced.

The Zumbrota Drivetrain BW4410 transfer case is a professionally remanufactured unit built to precise quality standards for Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer vehicles from the 2002 to 2005 model years. This specific transfer case, identified by tag numbers such as 1L24-AF and 4L24-BA, is designed for Full Time AWD configurations that do not utilize a dashboard switch. It features a viscous drive system, a cup-style front output yoke, and a circular rear output yoke. Importantly, this model does not include a provision for a speedometer drive hole. During the remanufacturing process, all units are rigorously inspected. They are meticulously cleaned using advanced hydro blasting and rinsing techniques to achieve an OEM-like finish. Furthermore, common wear components, including seals, bearings, and viscous couplers, are replaced with new parts to ensure optimal function and reliability. Units are shipped protected in high-density plastic totes to minimize the risk of damage during transit.
