BW4447 Transfer Case

The Zumbrota Drivetrain remanufactured BW4447 transfer case is specifically designed for 2013-2018 Ram 3500 Cab Chassis trucks that utilize an Aisin transmission. This unit offers manual shift operation and a bolt-on rear output yoke for straightforward installation. During the remanufacturing process, all cases undergo a thorough inspection for wear, including checks for cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. Zumbrota Drivetrain employs a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing procedure to restore both internal and external components to an OEM finish. Each transfer case is rebuilt with the replacement of all bearings, seals, and viscous couplers (where applicable) to ensure optimal performance and longevity. The finished units are spun tested for shiftability and noise. Key specifications include a 28 spline input, an 8-bolt transmission flange, and an aluminum housing. The transfer case has a fluid capacity of 1.9 quarts, and the fluid type is synthetic TCF, though fluid is not included. This model also features magnet wire in the rear case. This transfer case is built to order and ships when ready. Please note that units are shipped in high-density plastic totes to minimize transit damage.
