C-Clip Axles, 31 Spline, 29.91" Length, 8.8" Rear End

The Strange P3110 is a pair of alloy C-clip axles specifically engineered for 1994-1998 Ford Mustangs equipped with the 8.8 rear end and factory width housing with OEM housing ends. Constructed from modified 1550 premium steel forgings, these axles undergo a majority of their machining before heat treatment to ensure consistent hardness. They are induction hardened to Rc 62, a process that enhances torsional strength while maintaining ductility. The splines are hobbed to the proper involute profile before heat treatment, and the axles are finish-machined post-heat treatment for accuracy. Each axle measures 29.91 inches in length from the outside face of the flange to the axle tip and features 31 splines. Designed for convenience, the P3110 axles include dual 4 1/2" bolt circles, accommodating either OEM 1/2" press-in studs or 1/2"-20 screw-in studs. The axles are forged in the USA and designed and machined by Strange Engineering. For applications requiring maximum torsional strength, Strange offers Hy-Tuf axles.
