The JL Audio C1-690x coaxial speaker system is engineered to deliver substantial audio performance in a package designed for easy installation behind factory grilles. Each speaker features a 6 x 9-inch woofer with a mineral-filled, injection-molded polypropylene cone and a rubber surround, complemented by a 1.0-inch edge-driven aluminum dome tweeter for superior high-frequency clarity and definition. These components are housed within a proprietary, stamped steel frame and benefit from a Dynamic Motor Analysis (DMA) optimized motor system, ensuring precise control of cone motion and reduced distortion for a dynamic and clear sound. Installation is simplified thanks to included spacer and adapter rings, which allow for fitment in bottom-mount applications. The speakers are designed with a mounting depth of 2.75 inches and an outer diameter of 6.38 x 9.33 inches. They handle continuous power of 60W RMS and are recommended for use with amplifiers providing 10-100W RMS per channel, boasting an efficiency of 91.5 dB and a frequency response of 39 Hz - 22 KHz ± 3 dB.
