The Texas Speed 97-00 C5 Corvette long tube headers are 1-3/4" race-style exhaust headers constructed from 304 stainless steel.

The Texas Speed 1-3/4" race-style long tube headers provide a high-performance exhaust solution specifically for 1997-2000 C5 Corvettes. Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel, these headers are designed to improve exhaust flow and engine efficiency. Each set includes off-road connection pipes to interface with your factory H-pipe, Cometic exhaust manifold gaskets, and the required 2.5" and 3" band clamps. Installation requires cutting the front portion of your factory H-pipe to secure the connection pipes. Because these headers move the O2 sensor locations, front O2 sensor harnesses must be extended to maintain proper operation. Additionally, 1997-2000 models require the installation of the provided new oil dipstick, tube, and bolt to ensure proper clearance. Professional engine tuning is required following installation to disable the rear O2 sensors. Failure to tune the ECM for the removal of the rear O2 sensors will result in a "service engine soon" light on your dashboard.
