For those with modified vehicles or seeking enhanced cooling performance, this aluminum radiator facilitates optimal engine temperatures. Constructed in the USA, each Direct Fit radiator begins with a double-row core that is furnace brazed for robust strength and precision. Unlike many radiators, the entire DeWitts unit is epoxy-free, eliminating potential failures associated with cracked plastic end tanks or gasket leaks and contributing to improved horsepower through better cooling efficiencies. This design emphasizes superior cooling through its use of wider, 1-inch cooling tubes. DeWitts explains that in aluminum radiators, wider tubes increase tube-to-fin contact, enhancing performance and reducing weight more effectively than simply adding more rows. This means a 2-row aluminum radiator with 1-inch tubes can outperform a 3-row imported design.
