C5 Power Duct Intake System

The Vararam C5 Power Duct is an air intake component designed to enhance airflow for stock to high-horsepower C5 Corvettes, targeting applications from 500-700 rear-wheel horsepower. Engineered with a patented reverse venturi design and an integrated rear air horn, this power duct focuses on streamlining existing airflow rather than simply creating a larger opening. Its objective is to increase the volume of air delivered at the highest possible velocity through the Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor and throttle body at each RPM level. The product has demonstrated superior flow compared to competitors, outperforming them by over 15% at 28 inches of water and 20% at 10 inches of water through the throttle body. Key features include a relocated MAF position, placing it closer to the motor for a cleaner read, which is particularly beneficial for heads/cam or stroker motor applications. Construction utilizes a resin-reinforced Crosslink Material, specified for strength and longevity, which is reportedly 50% stronger than other systems. The design offers full adjustability to accommodate a wide range of intake and filter combinations, allowing compatibility even without a VR-B2 system. It also includes positive clamp rings front and rear. Optional forced induction models are available, capable of sustaining boost levels of 18 PSI at 175 degrees Fahrenheit.
