Description

The A&A Corvette C5 Ram Air Intercooler addresses the unique airflow challenges of the C5 Corvette, which is designed as a "Bottom Breather" with incoming air drawn from underneath. This intercooler system operates in conjunction with a complete radiator cavity enclosure. The intercooler itself is mounted away from the radiator and is supplied with fresh air via an included ABS scoop located behind and below the front fascia. This design aims to significantly improve engine cooling efficiency. Unlike systems that simply place an intercooler in front of the radiator, which can cause significant airflow blockage, this A&A Corvette system actively manages airflow. By sealing the radiator cavity, it prevents air from escaping into the fender wells or bumper, ensuring optimal performance for both the intercooler and the radiator.
