C5 Supercharger System

The A&A Supercharger System for the C5 Corvette is a centrifugal supercharger designed to deliver dramatic power gains without compromising drivability or highway fuel efficiency. It employs a large blow-off valve that remains open during cruising and light throttle, allowing the supercharger to freewheel and minimize parasitic loss to levels lower than an alternator. This system provides a more efficient and practical solution compared to aggressive naturally aspirated builds that often require extensive modifications and can compromise drivability. It preserves smooth idle quality, strong low-speed performance, and overall drivability, avoiding the drawbacks associated with large camshafts or extensive supporting modifications. With an average gain of approximately 175 RWHP, this system is one of the most effective performance upgrades for the C5 platform. Available head unit options include the V-2, an oil-fed design using engine oil, and the V-3, a self-contained system with its own oil supply. Both V-2 and V-3 units feature helical cut gears for quiet operation. Supercharger options include the Si-Trim (up to ~650 RWHP), T-Trim (up to ~750 RWHP), and YSi-Trim for extreme performance builds. The system includes the supercharger head unit, fuel injectors, fuel system upgrade components, a blow-off valve system, and complete mounting hardware and brackets. This system is designed for the 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette C5 with the 5.7L LS1 engine. Proper tuning and supporting modifications are required for optimal performance and reliability.
