The Trackspec Motorsports C5 T1 CENTER Hood Louver is engineered to enhance the performance and aesthetics of your C5 Corvette. Utilizing advanced CAD modeling and real-world race testing, these louvers are designed to integrate seamlessly with the C5's hood contours, specifically targeting the low-pressure areas behind the radiator and above the wheel arches. This strategic placement optimizes airflow and heat extraction. Constructed from hand-made aluminum with a durable powder-coated finish, the T1 hood louvers are built for longevity. The optimized design not only maximizes heat extraction to improve radiator efficiency and lower coolant temperatures but also reduces under-hood pressure. This reduction helps to lessen front-end lift and minimize cowl shake (hood fluttering), contributing to a more stable driving experience. The unique 'Backbone' design ensures the hood's structural rigidity is maintained after installation. These louvers are currently utilized on winning SCCA/NASA ST2, T1, and GT2 race cars, attesting to their performance capabilities.
