The Jackal C6/C7 A6/A7 3.0TFSI Tune is a comprehensive performance enhancement for Audi vehicles equipped with the 3.0TFSI engine, covering C6 and C7 A6/A7 models. This tuning solution offers multiple stages of calibration, from Stage 1 to Stage 2+ with E40 options, designed to significantly increase horsepower and torque. Each tune includes TCU (Transmission Control Unit) tuning to improve shifting characteristics, resulting in smoother drivability, faster upshifts, and quicker downshifts, particularly noticeable in manual mode and during aggressive driving. Jackal Motorsports provides substantial performance gains, with figures like +86whp / +64ft-lbs for Stage 1, and up to +185whp / +193ft-lbs for Stage 2+ E40 configurations (note: these are uncorrected, non-dynojet/crank figures). The tuning also includes the disabling of the Auto Start/Stop feature on equipped vehicles. For C6 owners, a specific ZF6 tune is integrated to enhance shifting performance. Suggested modifications vary by stage, with an aftermarket intake or drop-in filter recommended for Stage 1, and required for higher stages. Heat exchangers, single or dual pulley setups, and in some cases, HPFP upgrades, upgraded coolant pumps, test pipes, and cat-back exhausts are recommended or required for Stages 2 and 2+. For E40 tuning, a 40% ethanol mix and an ethanol gauge are suggested. Additionally, the use of NGK BKR8EIX spark plugs gapped to 0.026" is recommended across all staged files. Throttle body upgrades are also supported, with specific harness requirements for certain aftermarket throttle bodies like 034.
