The VIS Racing C63 Style Carbon Fiber Hood is engineered to enhance the appearance and performance of the 2008-2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204. Constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood utilizes a two-part design where the top layer is bonded with a high-grade epoxy resin. It is finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a durable, high-gloss aesthetic. The one-piece smooth underside shell contributes to structural integrity, ensuring a quality build. This carbon fiber hood is 10-20% lighter than the factory original, thanks to the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.). This weight reduction can contribute to improved handling and vehicle dynamics. For enhanced safety, the manufacturer recommends the use of hood pins, which are sold separately. Professional installation is recommended for this vehicle-specific part. The hood is compatible with various C-Class models including the C180 (2011), C200 (2010-2011), C230 (2008-2009), C250 (2010-2011), C280 (2008-2009), C300 (2008-2011), and C350 (2008-2011).
