C7 Corvette LT1/LT4 Thermostatic Oil Cooler Adapter

The Improved Racing EGM-132 is a high-efficiency, bolt-on thermostatic oil cooler adapter designed specifically for C7 Corvettes with LT1 and LT4 engines, replacing the factory water-to-oil heat exchanger that is insufficient for track or performance use. This adapter features a built-in thermostat that automatically bypasses the external air-to-oil cooler until the oil reaches its optimal operating temperature, typically 180°F (82°C), 200°F (93°C), or 212°F (100°C), depending on the selected thermostat. This ensures consistent oil temperatures, reduces engine wear, and minimizes horsepower losses associated with prolonged cold-start conditions or over-cooling. Constructed from durable 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a black MIL-A-8625 Type II anodized finish and equipped with high-temperature Viton seals, the EGM-132 is built for longevity and performance. It directly replaces the factory heat exchanger above the oil filter, retaining the stock oil filter location. The adapter features standard female -08AN O-ring boss ports, allowing for flexible plumbing with optional adapter fittings for -08AN, -10AN, or -12AN lines. Additionally, two interchangeable OUT ports offer versatile routing options, and one can accommodate an optional sensor adapter fitting for a 1/8" NPT or M12x1.5 sensor, or be used for a turbo oil feed or oil accumulator connection. This product is made in the USA and comes with a lifetime warranty. It includes the adapter block, gasket, mounting screws, and an -8AN plug, with optional fittings and sensor port adapters available for purchase. Installation requires O-ring boss fittings with a straight thread length of 0.500" or less; the use of Improved Racing's fittings is recommended for guaranteed fitment and seal. The Improved Racing EGM-132 oil cooler adapter is compatible with 2014+ Chevrolet Corvettes (C7) and may fit other vehicles using Gen V Chevrolet small block LT1, LT4, L86, and L83 engines. However, it **does NOT fit** the 2016+ Camaro SS oil pan and **does not fit** the 2020+ Cadillac CT5 Blackwing.
