Description

The Hella 8KW 178 042-222 is a yellow cable connector designed for electrical connections. It is suitable for cable cross-sections ranging from 4.0 mm² to 6.0 mm², with a bore diameter of 6.5 mm.

This insulated crimp connector requires an appropriate tool for installation to ensure a secure, firm contact with the cable. The insulation material is either PVC, rated for a maximum temperature of 80°C, or nylon, rated for a maximum of 105°C. The insulating sleeve features an easy-entry funnel shape for improved cable insertion.
