The MagnaFlow California Grade CARB Compliant Universal Catalytic Converter 333106 is engineered to maintain optimal emissions control and prevent the check engine light from illuminating. Its universal design offers flexibility, allowing it to fit a broad range of vehicles, though professional installation is highly recommended as welding is required. Constructed from durable 308 stainless steel with high-strength 16-gauge 409 stainless steel tubing, this catalytic converter is built for exceptional corrosion resistance and a maximum service life. The compact, low-mass design enhances thermal efficiency, and a single laser fusion weld minimizes the possibility of leaks. The expertly formulated catalyst blend maximizes efficiency, ensuring it meets or exceeds California Air Resource Board (CARB) requirements. This converter has undergone extensive testing and certification to comply with CARB guidelines, making it legal for use in California and other CARB-restricted states. For installation, it's permitted if the vehicle's Executive Order number and Engine Family Number appear in this converter’s CARB Executive Order. It is designed to meet emissions standards for all 2001 model year and newer vehicles manufactured with California or 50-State emissions certification, and for all 2000 model year and earlier vehicles or any model year vehicle manufactured with EPA or Federal emissions non 50-State certification.
