Overview

Its caliper design, based on OEM single-piston caliper thickness, allows for compatibility with most factory wheels or those with limited caliper clearance.

Show original supplier description

This kit features a slimline caliper design, inspired by the thickness of OEM single-piston calipers, which directly tackles the issue of clearance problems often encountered when fitting large multi-piston aftermarket calipers with aggressive wheel fitments. This innovative design ensures that the kit can be installed on vehicles using factory wheels or aftermarket wheels with very restricted brake caliper clearance. This specific kit, model BKHD050-332SO, is designed for the front of the 2001-2005 Honda Civic and is compatible with 2WD vehicles. It includes 3-piston calipers and 330mm slotted rotors, offering a significant upgrade in stopping power and heat dissipation over stock brakes. The unique caliper geometry allows for its use with wheels that typically would not accommodate larger brake systems, making it an ideal choice for enthusiasts seeking improved performance without compromising wheel aesthetics or fitment. It is important to note that Ksport products are generally designated for off-road use only, unless explicitly stated otherwise. This means they are intended for competition or racing purposes sanctioned by a recognized racing organization. While this kit offers significant performance advantages, buyers should be aware of this designation.
