The Forged Superlite Internal (FSLI) caliper series by Wilwood is an evolution of their benchmark Superlite calipers, widely used in short track, late model, modified, open-wheel, road race, off-road, rally, and sport driving applications. This FSLI model features internal fluid ports, eliminating external crossover tubes and their associated potential problems. It includes two additional bleed screw assemblies, allowing symmetrical piston bore models to be mounted in either right or left, leading or trailing positions. The caliper body is stress-flow forged from premium grade aluminum alloy billets, a process that realigns the metal's internal grain structure to enhance strength and resistance to deflection under load.
