The extreme lightweight one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 5lbs each, and features a differential bore configuration for optimal performance. Standard inclusions across all calipers are aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad grip and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. This kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight, leading to quicker braking response. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping. The unique slot design on the rotor effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris faster than conventional designs. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are advised for vehicles with more track use. This specific kit includes drilled rotors and Ceramic friction material composition, with available options for SC5 Street pads or RC1 Race pads. It comes standard with 12-month warranty covering manufacturer defects. The kit includes reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, ensuring faster pedal response. Options for rotor sizes range from 11-inch to 14-inch, and various color choices are available for the calipers, including standard Orange, Red, Yellow, and Black, with over 20,000 custom color upgrades possible. This particular kit features 8-piston calipers and 13-inch rotors.
