Designed especially for trucks, the CalTracs system is a bolt-on traction system with full pre-load adjustability. It keeps the axle from rotating, maintains pinion angle, eliminates spring wrap-up, and improves 60-foot times. The system features black powder-coated components and Berlin-style pivot plates for most applications. The preload link is made with Chromoly, and Rod Ends have a radial static load capacity of over 14,000 pounds. Two-piece aluminum front spring eye bushings assembly ensures the front pivot is squared and rigid. The rear mounts are made with 5/16" mild steel. This kit is designed to use existing leaf springs and U-bolts.
